What is RoboECE?
RoboECE (Robotics in Early Childhood Education) is an innovative Erasmus+ Small-Scale Partnership that brings together three organisations from Finland, Poland and Slovenia to revolutionize early childhood education through robotics and technology.
Together we develop age-appropriate robotics activities, structured lesson plans, and teaching guides that help young children aged 3–6 build critical thinking, creativity, and digital literacy — all through hands-on, play-based experiences that make learning irresistible.
Project Objectives
Transforming early childhood education through play, creativity, and cross-border collaboration.
Promote STEM Early
Foster interest in technology and science from the earliest stages of child development, building a natural curiosity.
Introduce Robotics
Make robotics and basic programming accessible and fun for children as young as 3 through age-appropriate tools.
Girls in Technology
Strengthen technological self-confidence especially in girls aged 3–6, breaking stereotypes from the very start.
Hands-On Building
Enable children to build simple robots using age-appropriate materials, developing fine motor and cognitive skills.
Coding Foundations
Introduce programming basics through playful, visual activities — unplugged and screen-based approaches combined.
Cross-Cultural Exchange
Foster international collaboration, cultural understanding, and sharing of best educational practices across Europe.
Parental Involvement
Encourage parents to participate in the learning process and understand the educational benefits of robotics for their children.
Lesson Plans
Produce 15+ robotics class plans suitable for kindergarten teachers, ready to use with minimal preparation.
Knowledge Sharing
Spread information and best practices about robotics teaching methods in kindergartens across Europe.
Transnational Partner Meeting
Second project meeting to review pilot results and align on next curriculum development phase.
Teacher Training Workshop
Intensive training for educators on integrating Bee-Bot, Blue-Bot and other robotics tools into ECE.
Final Dissemination Conference
Presenting all project outcomes, lesson plans, and educational findings to the wider community.
"Every child is a natural engineer — we just hand them the tools."
