GIRLS IN TECHNOOGY

One of the projects goals were strengthen technological self-confidence especially in girls aged 3-6, breaking stereotypes from the very start.
In Junailijankatu kindergarten, Riihimäki, Finland in years 2024-2026 we saw changes in girls at technology and robotics. Girls get more involved to coding and especially building than before. They were good at team tasks and the more we did different workshops more they got confidence doing it on their own. And that show in every day activities now. Girls choose more often building, coding and problemsolving in their free play/activity time.
