SHORT TERM START MEETING OF TEACHERS IN FINLAND

 The first day of the visit to Junailijankatu Kindergarten in Riihimäki was primarily about getting to know each other. Each participant presented their own kindergarten, teaching experience, experience in teaching robotics, expectations for the Erasmus+ project, and agreement on the schedule plan for virtual collaboration. During the second day of the visit, the teachers got acquainted with the robotics education model as well as the preschool robotics model in Riihimäki, led by Reetta Viitanen and Eevakaisa Särkkä from Robotiikkampus Riihimäki. On the same day, during the visit to Harjurinne School, Eero Kortelahti presented high school level robotics teaching. The teachers also participated in workshops conducted by preschool teachers. During these two days of the visit to Riihimäki, teachers from Poland and Slovenia attended robotics classes, also interacting with the children. We also participated in workshops on effective teaching techniques in robotics education for preschoolers and discussed future project goals.
